Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. Dentello Ltd has a zero tolerance approach to slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking, in any part of our business or supply chains.
This statement is made in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It reflects our commitment regardless of whether the statutory turnover threshold applies to us, because ethical recruitment is central to what we do.
Dentello operates a dental workforce platform that sources, places and supports dentists in UK practices, including dentists relocating from overseas. Our supply chains include the recruitment network behind our pipeline and the service providers who support our operations.
International recruitment is a recognised risk area for modern slavery, particularly where workers can be exposed to recruitment fees, debt and exploitation. Because we recruit and relocate dentists internationally, we treat ethical recruitment as a core responsibility, not an afterthought.
We do not charge dentists recruitment fees to secure work, and we operate on a model with no upfront fee. We carry out right to work and identity checks, and we manage visa and sponsorship processes properly and transparently. Placed dentists are supported throughout, which both improves retention and reduces the risk of exploitation.
We seek to understand and manage modern slavery risk in our recruitment and supply chains, including verifying identity and the right to work, dealing fairly with the dentists we place, and expecting the partners we work with to uphold the same standards.
We aim to ensure that those involved in recruitment and operations understand the risks of modern slavery and how to recognise and report concerns. Further detail on our training programme is shown as [X] until published in full.
We keep the effectiveness of our anti slavery steps under review and aim to measure them against appropriate indicators, so that our approach improves over time. The specific indicators we use are shown as [X] until published in full.
This statement is made in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2026 and is reviewed regularly. It has been approved by the board of directors of Dentello Ltd and is signed by Samin Usman, Director, dated 11 June 2026.
The statutory duty under section 54 applies above a turnover threshold. We publish this statement in the spirit of the Act regardless, because ethical recruitment is central to our business.
